Community Interest Statement
Our Mission & Commitment
At Imagikit CIC, we are dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and inspiring spaces where children, young people, and families can come together to play, connect, and thrive. We know that creativity has the power to unlock confidence, build resilience, and support wellbeing, and our workshops are designed to do exactly that.
Our workshops span a wide range of experiences, including stay-and-play sessions for early years, art and craft workshops that encourage imagination and hands-on learning, music sessions that promote self-expression and rhythm, and sensory-based activities designed to support children with additional needs. For teenagers, we also run a teen club with a focus on building friendships and reducing loneliness – a growing issue for many young people today.
Every workshop is built on the values of inclusion, accessibility and community. We believe no child should feel left out, and no parent should feel alone. That’s why our sessions are open to children and young people with a wide range of needs, including those who are neurodivergent, disabled or home educated, as well as those who simply benefit from smaller, more nurturing environments.
Our team is passionate about providing a space where everyone feels welcome and accepted. We recognise the importance of sensory play and creative exploration, not only for learning and development but also for supporting mental health and social skills. Each session is carefully designed to balance structure with freedom, allowing children and young people to engage at their own pace and in their own way.
For families, Imagikit CIC is more than just a workshop provider – it’s a community. We aim to connect parents and carers with each other, reduce isolation and provide practical support alongside creative opportunities. Through our work, we want to create a ripple effect that strengthens family bonds, encourages peer-to-peer support and helps communities grow closer together.
Our vision is to make creativity and connection accessible to all. Whether through messy play, painting, music or simply being part of a welcoming group, every workshop is a chance for children and young people to explore who they are, discover new skills and experience the joy of belonging.
At Imagikit CIC, we are not just running workshops – we are building a community where creativity meets care and where every child and young person has the chance to shine.
