Born from lived experience

At Imagikit CIC, we believe imagination isn’t just child’s play — it’s healing, expressive and empowering.

We're a community interest company on a mission to create inclusive, sensory-led spaces for people who often feel like they don’t quite belong — children with additional needs, home-educated families, socially isolated teens, neurodivergent adults, and anyone who’s ever felt left out of the mainstream.

💛 Our Story

Imagikit CIC was born from personal experience. As a neurodivergent parent of neurodivergent children, our founder Jemma Lee experienced first-hand how limited the world can feel when your needs don’t fit into a system, especially when it comes to play, expression and safe social spaces.

What started as homemade sensory kits, crafts and creative rituals to support her own children’s emotional regulation has grown into a movement: a space where sensory play meets social connection and where being “different” isn't a thing.

Imagikit CIC is built from lived experience, not just theory and everything we do is rooted in empathy, understanding and a fierce belief in inclusion.

🎨 What We Do

We design and deliver:

Combining art, music, craft and imagination for home-educated, neurodivergent children and adults within a safe, low-pressure creative space.
We also accommodate organisations, schools and community groups.

All sessions are led by DBS-checked facilitators, trained in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and inclusive delivery.

🌈 Why It Matters

Our community includes children and adults whom:

Don’t believe in “fitting in.”

We believe in belonging... and that’s what Imagikit CIC creates.

🔁 Our Model

We operate as a not-for-profit CIC.

Every penny we earn or raise goes straight back into delivering sessions, subsidising places and expanding our reach to those who need us most.

We’re supported by parents, SEN teachers, creative professionals, and neurodivergent adults who share our vision: a more creative, connected and inclusive world.
